To obtain an A1 license, you'll be required to complete the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) and pass both a theoretical and two-part practical test. The A2 licence is obtainable at the age of 19 years old with an approved CBT course and is a restricted version of a full motorcycle licence. It allows you to ride motorcycles with a maximum power output of 47 BHP although bikes that produce more than this can be restricted down up to 94 BHP.

A3 Licence
The A2 Licence is a natural step up from the CBT and lets riders advance to larger bikes that have greater power output. It also offers extra perks that aren't available with the CBT for example, driving on motorways or carrying passengers.
